Capacity Building Training on Clinical Trials and Pharmacovigilance

The Paul-Ehrlich-Institut (PEI) of the Federal Ministry of Health Germany recently concluded a five-day training session from 07-11 July 2025 for Staff of The Directorate of Clinical Trials and Pharmacovigilance (DCTPV), Medicines Control Agency (MCA), The Gambia. The training aimed at improving the skills and capacity of Staff of the DCTPV in the regulation of clinical trials and pharmacovigilance as one of the key functions of MCA.

The training marked a significant step in strengthening the regulatory capacity of the Staff in ensuring the availability of quality, safe and efficacious Medicines and related products in The Gambia.
