MCA bids farewell to longest serving Staff member

Yesterday, the Medicines Control Agency (MCA) held a farewell session in honor of Mr. Yafilly Conteh, one of the Agency’s longest serving Staff member as a Driver, in which he served as the sole Driver of the Agency for some years with diligence.
It was a deeply emotional moment for the entire Staff, especially for those who had worked closely with him from 2016-2025. Everyone who spoke, including the Acting Executive Director, Directors, Unit Heads, and colleagues, highlighted Mr. Conteh’s unwavering dedication to service, sacrifice and commitment to the Agency’s mission.
Mr. Conteh was warmly praised for his professionalism, humility, integrity and honesty throughout his years of service. Beyond his official duties, he was a mentor who willingly offered guidance and advice to junior colleagues when the need arises.
While expressing his gratitude, Mr. Conteh bid farewell and thanked the entire Staff for the respect and support he received during his time at the Agency.
Although it is difficult to say goodbye, MCA extends its heartfelt appreciation to Mr. Conteh for his outstanding service to the Agency and the Country by far. MCA wishes him a happy and fulfilling retirement while praying that this new chapter of his life is filled with good health, joy and well-deserved rest.
