MCA Participates in AUDA-NEPAD Scoping Mission on Integrated Vector Management in The Gambia

The Medicines Control Agency (MCA) is currently participating in the AUDA NEPAD Integrated Vector Management (IVM) Programme scoping mission, taking place at the Ministry of Health in Banjul.
The mission aims to introduce the IVM Programme, outline its objectives and relevance to The Gambia, raise awareness among stakeholders, map existing frameworks for vector control, and prepare stakeholders for deeper engagement in AU-level platforms and regional dialogues.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Symerre Grey-Johnson, Director of Human Capital, Social and Institutional Development at AUDA NEPAD, reaffirmed the Programme’ s commitment to supporting Vector Management efforts in The Gambia to promote a healthier population.
