The Medicines Control Agency (MCA) is pleased to announce the signing of a Partnership Agreement with Antares Vision Group, which came through their local partner African Agenda Network (AAN), to support the development and deployment of a digital Track and Trace system for medicines.
This groundbreaking innovative system will strengthen MCA’s effort in traceability of medicines in the fight against Substandard and Falsified Medicines (SFM) in The Gambia, ensuring quality, safe and efficacious medicines.
MCA is excited about this partnership and the anticipated positive impact it will have on public health and safety, as part of the National Action Plan (NAP) on SFMP implementation.
