The MCA’s Clinical Trials & Pharmacovigilance Directorate, together with the Regional Health Directorate, with support from Paul Ehrlich Institute ( PEI), has taken its Medicines Safety Campaign on Adverse Drug Reaction (ADR) to communities and health facilities across CRR South.
Community leaders and members, including Alkalos, VDCs, and Sefos, welcomed the team in villages like Santanto Mawdo, Kerewan Dumbokono, Sinchu Madado, Boiram, Mali kunda and Jakoto, pledging their support to raise awareness on Adverse Drug Reaction (ADR) reporting for safer healthcare.
The team also sensitized healthcare workers in Kudang Health Centre, Bansang General Hospital, Nanado, Dankunku and Gissadi Health Centre, equipping them with practical knowledge on identifying and reporting ADRs case to strengthen national pharmacovigilance.
